Why Landis Park?

Every meaningful gathering begins somewhere.

For us, it began on a dance floor.

​

On an October evening in 2017, we met at Atlanta's Fernbank Museum during a Halloween celebration. What started with a chance encounter, a few dance moves, and a conversation over drinks became a story that would shape the rest of our lives.

​

Over the years that followed, our relationship was built through shared experiences, ambitious ideas, and a belief that the most memorable moments happen when people come together. In 2020, Ryan proposed by recreating one of our favorite dates. In 2021, we returned to the very dance floor where we first met to celebrate our wedding.

​

As a playful nod to the setting that brought us together, we named our wedding Landis Park, an homage to the spirit of adventure and discovery, and, of course, a certain prehistoric park.

​

What began as a wedding theme soon became something much more meaningful.

​

A few years before we met, Karen founded Pop + Fizz with a vision of creating extraordinary experiences. Over the next decade, that vision expanded into multiple brands, each built with intention, creativity, and a commitment to hospitality. As our family of brands grew, we found ourselves returning to the question of what name could truly represent what we were building. Time and again, one name stood out, connected to our foundation and impossible to ignore: Landis Park.

Today, Landis Park serves as the umbrella for the ventures, venues, and experiences we are building together. It reflects our belief that hospitality is about more than beautiful spaces or flawlessly executed events. It's about curating places where stories unfold, milestones are celebrated, and meaningful connections are made.

Landis Park honors the place where our story began while creating spaces for countless others to begin their own.
